About me

I am a Google India Ph.D fellow at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur starting from Jan, 2016. I am working under the supervision of Prof. Niloy Ganguly. My research interest lies in Data Mining, analysis of Online Social Network(OSN). My work majorly involves statistical machine learning, network analysis, and their application to study OSN. I am a part of Complex Network Research Group.

Research Internship

I have worked on "Variational Auto Encoder based approach for random graph generation" under the supervision of Dr. Manuel Gomez Rodriguez during my internship at Max Planck Institute for Software Systems.

Academic Details

I have received my M.Tech in Computer Science and Eng. from Indian Institute of technology, Kharagpur, India in the year of 2013. Before that I had completed my B.Tech from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata in the year of 2011.

Work Experience

After completing my Masters I joined as a Software Engineer at Yahoo Inc, India, Multimedia Search Team(July 2013 - Nov 2014). After that I joined Amazon, India Product Detail Page Team, Bangalore(Dec 2014-Dec 2015).
